Do you take reservations?
Yes! We accept reservations for any size party! Please call as much in advance as possible to ensure the time you would like is available. Understand that you can always make reservations the day of if space is available, you just might need to be flexible with the time depending on availability.
Can I make a reservation online?
We accept reservations over the phone or in person only. We TOTALLY understand that most of you have gotten used to booking online, but here at Carmella’s we consider it very important to build relationships with our guests and to provide a bit of old-world hospitality while doing so. By speaking with one of our team members directly, we can help tailor your experience to fit your needs. What is also very special is that you will most likely be speaking with our amazing General Manager, Simon Gordon, who runs the floor nightly and helps make everyone feel at home. *NOTE: for larger parties and / or off-site catering, please see our catering page.
Speaking of large parties, how many people can be seated at one table for a regular dining room reservation?
We can seat up to 14 people at one table together. We also book private parties on our patio and offer restaurant buy-outs on Sundays and Mondays. Please call or email our catering QUEEN, Kristen at cateringatcarmellas@gmail.com for more information or see our catering page and submittal form.
Can I order pizza while dining at Carmella’s in the evening?
You cannot order pizza in the Carmella’s dining room in the evening. We will be co-existing under one roof with two totally separate menus. In order to maintain the integrity of our beloved original and namesake, we are keeping things separate, kind of like a restaurant within a restaurant! The Carmella’s Menu will be available in the bar, main dining room and patio between the hours of 4pm and 9pm. The VIA Menu will be available in the bar, main dining room and patio between the hours of 11am and 2pm and again on the VIA side between the hours of 4pm and 9pm. Please enter through the Carmella’s door during its’ regular business hours if you are hoping to join us at Carmella’s and through the VIA door during its’ regular business hours if you are hoping to join us at VIA. Trust us, it will make sense!
Do you offer gluten free or vegan options?
YES! To both. Everything on our menu is made to order and our staff is extremely knowledgeable about all things menu related. Please speak to your servers upon arrival and they will help guide you. *NOTE: We are not a certified gluten free kitchen. We do our very best to esure there is no cross contamination, but ask that you use caution for extreme allergies or celiac disease.
Do you serve alcohol and cocktails?
We serve only beer and wine. We have an extensive and gorgeous wine list with selections from around the globe, focusing on Italian wine. We also take care to hand pick wines that reflect our value system, often sourcing from small, family owed growers who practice using organic, sustainable and ancient practices and traditions. Our in-house wine specialist and bar manager, Bryan Bradley, can help guide your choices with his expertise and exquisite taste. We also offer a beautiful after-dinner drink list and our beer is mostly Mid-West produced. We have some special offerings like the Aperol Spritz and other similar gems for those looking for a more cocktail type of experience.
Are your desserts made in house?
YES YES YES, all of our desserts are made in house by the spectacular Kari Mueller. In our humble opinion, she is hands down the best pastry chef in all of Wisconsin! LUCKY us and lucky you!

Do you accept reservations at VIA?
We accept reservations for VIA during our lunch service ONLY, between 11am and 2 pm. Seating for VIA in the evening is extremely limited and will be on a first come first serve basis with a wait list you can join upon entering our VIA space.
How can I make a lunch reservation for VIA?
We do things at VIA much as we do at Carmella’s, with a bit of that old school charm that is often missing from online interaction. Please call our VIA phone at 920.441.0416 during regular business hours to book your reservation for lunch. NOTE: We expect to be very busy at times so please be patient and try us back if you can’t get through the first time.
Will you take to-go orders at VIA?
Yes! We are excited to do take out service for our VIA menu. Please call our VIA phone at 920.441.0416 to order take out. Think, pizza party on your own deck or a beautiful picnic in the park! Please understand that Neapolitan pizza is much different that the pizza you might be used to and is traditionally meant to be eaten right away, in house. That being said, we have often personally gotten take out from some of our favorite Neapolitan pizza spots and LOVE it just as much at home. We will provide instructions for you on exactly how to heat it up once you get it home so it can be just as delicious!
Will you serve alcohol at VIA?
We will offer the same gorgeous offerings for beer, wine and after drinks as Carmella’s! AND as an added bonus, we are now able to sell full bottles of wine and beer TO GO! VIA and Carmella’s will now be your one-stop shop for takeout food and wine. We are really excited to add this convenience for you and hope you will enjoy this new feature.
Will you have the same desserts as Carmella’s?
We will not have exactly the same offerings for dessert as Camella’s. What we do have (AT BOTH), is Wisconsins’ BEST pastry chef, Kari Mueller! She will be serving up togo size portions of some of our well-known favorites and some new surprises too. She is also making our in-house gelato using all local, grass-fed milk from Clover Meadows Farm and local organic eggs from Kellner Back Acre Garden, with no food coloring or artificial ingredients. We can’t wait for you to try our old favorites in new form and some of our new delicious treats too.
